Time and Building Codes they may be a changing, at least in NC. As you might have noticed, the “Green Building” wave is growing more and more popular. That wave of popularity is not being missed on the state regulators. The State Building Code Council (BCC) is considering more requirements every year. Last week in Raleigh, the BCC addressed the issue again. After a great deal of discussion over two meetings, the BCC voted to reconsider a proposal requiring new homes to be more energy efficient.
